The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) congratulates Zazzau Selection on emerging champions of the 2026 Lilleker 10s Rugby Tournament, hosted by Zaria Rugby Club at the Zaria Elephant Rugby Training Pitch, Kaduna State.
The one-day tournament brought together six teams from across Northern Nigeria, showcasing the growing standard of domestic rugby and providing valuable competitive opportunities for players and clubs.
In the opening matches, Barewa RFC recorded an emphatic 43–0 victory over hosts Zaria RFC, while Zazzau Selection defeated Kaduna RFC 38–0 to secure their place in the final. Kaduna RFC bounced back to claim third place with a 12–5 victory over Zaria RFC.
The final produced an exciting contest as Zazzau Selection edged Barewa RFC 8–5 to lift the Lilleker 10s title.
